MINT Harold and Maude Soundtrack LP -   NEVER PLAYED & RARE COLOR with BONUS MATERIAL!

Up for your consideration is a special packaged promo copy of the acclaimed soundtrack to Harold and Maude.  Please read the following as these promo copies are slightly different from the versions that were for sale...

The one you are bidding on includes the soundtrack LP - in the VERY RARE PINK/PURPLE SPLIT COLOR!  (see the breakdown below).  AND IT IS ALSO ONE OF ONLY 30 COPIES out of the limited edition 2500 to include the one-side 7” RADIO SPOT!!  That’s right folks, only 2500 copies ever pressed!  Only 300 ever made in this color, and one of 30 in existence that has this special extra piece of vinyl!  You’re not going to ever see this combination again.  Cameron Crowe released this long- overdue treasure 37 years after the film came out and like Willy Wonka, Vinyl Films hid special items (63 in all) in various copies.  This copy got a golden ticket!!!  I normally wouldn’t have unsealed the album, but I had to know what goodies were inside and what color it was.  Neither the LP or 7” have ever been played! EVER. They were removed only once from their sleeves in order to photograph them for this listing.  

Just so you know how rare this is, here’s the breakdown of the inserted bonus items inserted among 2500 copies:

Over two years in the making, the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to Harold and Maude comes with an extensive 40-page full-color booklet filled with never-before-seen photographs and an oral history of the making of the film and the music, as told by the filmmakers and participants.  

In addition to the amazing classic songs like “Trouble” and “Where Do The Children Play?”, the album also includes the two songs written specifically for Harold and Maude, “If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out” and “Don’t Be Shy”, along with alternate versions of both Harold and Maude tracks.  (see the photo of the album back cover for complete track listing.)
