Other Info: It has a picture of Patsy, Gene and June on the front cover, each one has their named signed above who they are. The signatures are part of the album. This was a popular promotional photo that all 3 of these artists used. There's also a note in red ink written and signed by Patsy Montana and signed by Gene Autry in a different pen. I don't know if they both signed it at the same time, I just know that the couple that owned this record use to go to many different concerts or shows and they always took some of their record with them to get them signed. There's a date on the Patsy Montana signature but not on the Gene Autry one. I guess they never got to see June Storey in person or I'm sure they would of had her sign it too. This record was made in West Germany and I was told that it's a rare record, that only a limited number of these were ever made. There's also a letter written on the back from Gene Autry and signed by him.

Year: 1984

Condition: The record looks like it's in excellent, never been played condition. The cover has some wear but still looks pretty good. This belonged to a neighbor who collected many of Patsy Montana's records and had her sign all of them. I will be listing them as well as many other great records, many of them are signed. Overall, it looks like a really nice record that any collector would be happy to have & add to their collection!

PATSY MONTANA: Pictured with June Storey and Gene Autry, whose names have been written above their images. Ink note on verso (unknown hand): "Patsy Montana signed all three names for some reason." Country singer Patsy Montana made her film debut with Autry and Storey in the 1939 Republic Western, Colorado Sky. The film, which also starred Autry's comic sidekick, Smiley Burnette, and Buster Crabbe, also featured the CBS-KMBC Texas Rangers. The group, along with Autry, Burnette and Montana, sang a number of songs in the film, including the title song, "Poor Little Doggies" and "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" (Montana's signature song). Patsy Montana (1914-1996), born Ruby Blevins, was the first woman country singer to have a million-selling single, "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" (1935). A star on Gene Autry's National Barn Dance radio program for many years, Montana, who also yodeled and played organ, guitar and violin, had a number of hits, including "Radio Sweetheart", "Montana Plains" and "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Dream". After making her film debut in 1939's Colorado Sunset, she appeared in numerous Western films in the 1940s

For international buyers I offer a minimum of 2 choices, a cheaper but slower shipping & a faster shipping which of course costs more. If I find a third option I will offer it as well.

NOTE: The weight includes the packaging, I package records extra well to insure their safe arrival, because of that, the package winds up weighing more. I feel it's worth the extra weight to make sure the record(s) get to you in the condition I sent them in. I hope you feel the same & understand. You will save money on s&h if you get more than 1 record, it's the 1st item that seems to be the bulk of the cost, each one after that, only costs a little bit more.
