Description

I had No Clue and then I listened to it. The Bowling Green side is upbeat fast rockabilly garage twang - I’m not sure what to call it. It has a guitar ride in the middle and another one at the end hot hot. The flip side is an ‘upbeat slow song’ if that makes sense. When a boy leaves to go on his own. Deep serious tune. Vocal is type written: Lee Ferguson - I’m not sure if that’s the same person as Jessie Lee Ferguson or not. I’m sure someone out there can enlighten me. It also lists Greg Hobdy as vocal on one side and only Ferguson on the flip I cant find anything on the Mississippi label either as of yet. SLATS RECORDS Vicksburg Miss. This is a steel metal record with black overlay or whatever it was made from. The black paint or whatever it is - is brittle in some areas near the center. I played the record and started the needle on the black part. Two Great tunes. I’m not sure who the songwriter is on either unless it’s Ferguson. There is no further address. There is stamped on both sides: “NOT FOR SALE” in Red. also on the label is: “Instantaneous Process’ and ‘45’ is typed in on the blank beside the ‘rpm’ and it has typed: Side 1 Side 2..
