Description

MEGA-RARE!! ORIGINAL UK DEMO COPY - The Manish Boys "I Pity The Fool"/"Take My Tip"(Red/White Parlophone R5250) DEMO. Released in 1965, this was one of David Bowie's earliest recordings, and is SO HIGHLY-SOUGHT-AFTER!! The "A" side is rather a "bluesy" number, but Bowie's voice comes through SO strongly and clearly. The "B" side is more upbeat with great guitar background backing - a very strong "B" side(not too typical of this era!). Condition-wise, the "A" side has a couple of mild surface marks, but the only evidence of this is a couple of mild "pops" at the beginning of the single, and some very mild crackle, but just for a very few seconds at the beginning during the soft intro, before the song becomes more "raunchy" -otherwise just fine!! I'd therefore grade it EX CONDITION. The "B" side plays fine, except for a couple of "pops" just after the song finishes. Both labels are nice and clean, and there is an official date-stamp on the "A" label, indicating the release date of "5th Mar 1965"!! The item comes with the original Parlophone custom sleeve, also in EX CONDITION.This is obviously one of the RAREST items around and I want to be accurate about the condition, so if you require ANY further details, please contact me. Happy to oblige!! As usual with my items, there is NO Reserve, and a low starting price. Thanks for looking in and Good Luck should you decide to Bid!!
