MEGA-RARE! ORIGINAL UK LP - The Idle Race "The Birthday Party"(Blue Liberty LBL 83132) MONO. Recorded in 1968, this is a VERY RARE ITEM!! Superb album, containing such gems as "Skeleton & The Roundabout", "End Of The Road", "Follow, Me Follow" etc etc. This was the debut LP for The Idle Race(including Mr. Jeff Lynne of course), and the BEST!! The vinyl is in VG+ CONDITION, with plenty of shine, but with a few minor surface marks and the odd minor scratch, that give a little "crackle", BUT NO SKIPS, JUMPS! The (gatefold) sleeve is in EX CONDITION, and is a BEAUTY in conception, with the "Invitation" plus the Inner Sleeve photo of contemporary personalities who were "invited" to the Birthday Party!!(See scan)
