RARE ORIGINAL 1970 IKE & TINA TURNER REVUE POSTER.

 

 

Rare and colorful vintage venue poster documents an August 23, 1970 appearance by the legendary Ike & Tina Turner Revue, undoubtedly the era's hottest, most durable, and explosive R&B ensemble. This oversized, three-color off-set poster announces an Ike & Tina show at Memphis' venerable Club Handy, a staple of The Chitlin Circuit during the late-60's and '70's. Features tremendous graphics and portraits of Ike, Tina and the Ike-Ettes, and promises "The World's Most Exciting Show!" Measures 18 x 26 inches on screened glossy cardstock, and is all original, with obvious promotional use and no restoration. Poster has some creasing and dirt spots. There are staple hole on four corners. VERY desirable and absolutely authentic. Please see accompanying images for all additional info and condition.
