RARE ORIGINAL 1967 PRINCE BUSTER - ON TOUR - BLUE BEAT- BBLP808

This rare and original 1967 release from Melodisc Records distributed on the Blue Beat label features Prince Buster performing on this recording of his live UK tour.Cecil Bustamente Campbell born May 28, 1938, better known as Prince Buster, is a musician from Kingston, Jamaica and regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of ska and rocksteady music The records he made on the Blue Beat label in the 1960s inspired many reggae and ska artists to come both in Jamaica and the UK.

This vinyl and cover are in very good to excellent condition and although the record has obviously been played and enjoyed many times it diplays no major deterioration in sound quality despite some noticeable surface marks. Apart from the labels having a small signature on each side from a previous owner which are the same colour as the label and hardly visible they are clean and presentable, see enlarged pictures. The cover has some light creasing and discoloration indicative of its age. On the reverse, top of the cover there is a small penned name. The cover has no rips, splits or tears and the spine is strong and in tact. Altogether a very good, presentable and acceptable copy.
