Description

The Seller is the Original Owner and received this special limited edition Picture Disc Single from Warner/Reprise in 1978 as a "Season's Greetings" promotional item.
The disc was visually inspected and appears to be in NM condition. The same image of Neil Young appears on both sides. The song "Comes A Time" (Featuring the fiddle of Rufus Thibodeaux) is on Side 1. "Motorcycle Mama" (Featuring Nicolette Larson) is on side 2.
The picture disc came packaged in a generic clear PVC sleeve with a hand-numbered sticker affixed to the front. The disc was removed from the sleeve to photograph for this listing, and will be shipped outside of the sleeve. The sleeve has no tears or splits. Please note that the disc fits tight inside the sleeve and is not easy to slide in or take out.
Notes:
"Season's Greetings 1978 - Kent Crawford Warner Bros. Records" is printed on the disc. Kent Crawford was a label executive at the time.
"Sound quality may not be comparable to conventional edition" is printed on sticker. This is a typical disclaimer for picture discs.
"Special Limited Edition" of 200 hand-numbered copies.
"1978 Warner Bros. Records Inc. Made in U.S.A."

The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 40 years! Grading methodology is as follows:
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.
This Seller allows for combined shipping costs when multiple items are purchased in the same transaction. Each additional (single) LP will ship for $1. For this discount to be applied to your purchase, you must use the ADD TO CART to combine the items into one transaction. Do not use BUY IT NOW. Seller ships domestically within the United States via United States Post Office Media Mail with tracking. This is the most economical option. Seller will insure packages valued above $30. Insurance does not cover missing packages after they have been delivered to the buyer's address, only damage or loss during shipping. Please make adequate arrangements to safely receive your packages. If Buyer prefers a faster shipping service, please contact the Seller before completing the transaction to discuss options such as Priority Mail.
