TITLES:  Wash and Wear Love/Tell Me What's Wrong With The Men.

This is an item which has turned up only very rarely.  Somebody has given me a "low" offer (compared to its listed value) and he realizes I may not accept his offer at all.  THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE USED A RESERVE PRICE ON AN ITEM, but the reserve price is only to prevent selling this at a price below the offer.  This Reserve price is FAR LOWER than the prices listed for this rare item.

Any reserve price that I ever set on an item in the future is only to assure that I sell an item for at least the amount that an ordinary record dealer may give me.  I don't believe in using reserve prices to assure that I get the utmost possible retail price for something.  I just don't want to sell something for $19.99 which a dealer in Chicago would probably give me $200 for, or some such scenario.  Any reserve prices I set will ALWAYS be substantially below suggested values in "price guides" and such, and therefore one doesn't need to make superhuman efforts to get past my Reserve, LOL.

Please note that if this item is not U.S.-bound, it will ship via REGISTERED MAIL, to best assure safe delivery (INCLUDED in prices shown below).  Registered Mail is far better than Insured mail in many ways.  Using INSURED mail overseas is usually a mistake anyway...it will pay if the package is LOST.  However, if the package is damaged, insurance will only pay the amount declared for customs.  If this item goes to a winner within the U.S., insurance will need to be added to the total.  Of course in the U.S. there are no issues with customs valuation, etc.

I have also noticed - when packages are sent to Europe - that INSURANCE will sometimes cause packages to disappear for three to five months, only to be returned to me "unclaimed."  Nobody has ever been able to explain this, but it seems to happen about 15% of the time, and it seems most common for packages shipped to the UK.  The issue doesn't seem to exist with packages which are not insured - and it doesn't seem to exist with REGISTERED (signed delivery) packages either.  I've been sending record packages around the world for 35 years now. 

I don't believe this record has ever been played, except for my short audition to find out what kind of music it was.  It may have been played by somebody at a radio station in 1973 for a similar reason, but it was promptly put into the rejects piles, and it was among thousands of records which my source obtained from a Los Angeles radio station and put into storage.  I'm sure the record has never been played all the way through the song.  There is a very little hint of the "gray film" that sometimes forms on records which have been stored in a warm climate, but I don't think it affects the playing, and it would probably accurately grade NEAR MINT.  However I've downgraded it to the next lower grade of VG++, just to be safe.
