MEGA RARE NEAR MINT BEATLES WHITE ALBUM SWBO-101 '35M FOR SALE TO U.S. MILITARY ONLY'...THE BLUE STICKER ON THE REAR COVER IS COMPLETELY INTACT AND MINT.

Rarely do these amazing Beatles White Albums that were sold only to U.S. Military personnel show up for sale. They are uniquely designated with a distinctive Pristine round blue sticker on the rear. The gatefold cover is stunning and Near Mint front, back and inside, with NO writing and NO fading !!

Very few of these have known to have survived, and rarely, if ever, have been seen for sale anywhere.

In the 60s & 70s, the world was heavily engaged in the Vietnam war and the music industry wanted to do whatever it could to lend a lifting hand to the troops around the globe, so some recording artists came up with the idea of designating special albums to be offered to Military personnel, shipped to and sold only on the bases. The Beatles did so starting with 'Rubber Soul', and including the legendary White Album. Other top recording artist also shipped LPs to Military bases including Elvis Presley.
They exported records to countries and territories that had limited manufacturing capacity. In addition, the companies sent discs to British and American military bases throughout the world and a few other outlets. From 1965, they pressed unique American & British record albums for sale at U.S. bases.

The round blue sticker on the back is as rare as they come and still very vibrant and completely Mint !!
Original embossed pressing of The Beatles 'White Album'...Records are excellent and highly glossy with some light scuffing and minor scratches. Winchester pressing plant etchings in the wax, with rare matrix numbers. Labels are absolutely Pristine with NO writing and NO marks. The inner spine is extremely nice. This is a nice white Near Mint clean cover, with some corner bruising, but with NO SEAM SPLITS, NO taped seam splits, NO writing, NO price stickers on front, and NO tears. NO WRITING on any of the absolutely *Pristine* record labels, and NO WRITING on the sleeve anywhere !! Inner sleeves are indeed present and are spectacular. Comes with EX/NM original poster, however the portrait photos are absent. This would be a great addition to any Beatles collection !!
