Description
This is a rare 7" single called :YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME" b/w "TRIED TO
HIDE" by the THIRTEENTH FLOOR ELEVATORS (Roky Erickson), an
American rock band formed in Austin, Texas in 1965. They were very important
players in the garage rock and punk genre, and at the leading edge of Psychedelic
Rock. The drugs that spurred Roky's creative genius and paranoia combined to
put Roky away in a mental institution for a while and split the band up.
This single was distributed in Canada by LONDON RECORDS on the I. A.
RECORDS (International Artists Producing Company) dark blue label IA. 107,
1966. The Side 1 song "YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME" was written by Roky, and has two red Xs, two black Xs, and the date written on the label. Side 2 label
is NM. The vinyl looks, plays, and sounds NM, and features some great guitar
and harmonica playing.
