A Bemsha Swing Written-By – Best*, Monk* B The Man I Love Written-By – Gershwin*I have tried to be honest when using the Goldmine Grading system to grade both the record and sleeve. If anything I have aired on the lower side grading for the record. I played these through on my Proj-Ject Jukebox Turntable and there was no jumps or major scratches affecting the play. As with any vinyl over 50 yrs old it has been used and if you hold the record to the light you will see scratches. It has been played, like any vinyl should be, so it will not be perfect and free from any noise but it doesn't overrun the music.

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
