One of the most original picture discs I have ever been able to add to my collection. It was created differently than all other picture discs. Regular picture discs have problems with sound quality because the groove depth has been adjusted to accommodate the picture (paper) embedded in the vinyl. This disc looks like 2 clear single sided vinyl records with the picture placed between them and then glued around the edges to make 1 very thick disc - about twice as thick as a normal record. The label on the sleeve says the process for the pressing has patents pending but I've never seen another disk manufactured this way. This process does have it's advantages though. As the label claims - the sound quality of the record is excellent - which it should be based on the way it is made. (Don't know - never played it) This process also allows the use of things like holographic foil between the records as seen in Medusa's face on this disc. The disc is stunning and would be an impressive and unique centerpiece to add to any record collection.

This disc is in unplayed condition and comes in the original thin clear plastic sleeve. The identifying sticker on the plastic bag has a small tear (see photos). The original price sticker and Import sticker are also on the plastic bag / sleeve. This disc was originally sealed with a 1 inch piece of scotch tape across the opening in the center of the sleeve - It has not survived the years and the sleeve is open but the record has been properly protected over the years.
