We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. FINAL COLLECTION COPY!!! MINT / MINT

RARE ...Original 1972 first pressing in lavish gatefold cover, highly rated progressive rock crew and one of their two best (with Eagle Rock) Lp's...

The five-piece was originally formed in 1969 and they rehearsed hard, wrote some good tunes, and so Titanic eventually became one of the first Norwegian bands to enjoy hit records in both England and Germany. They also recruited English lead singer, Roy Robinson, who helped give their music an international appeal. Roy wrote most of the lyrics which he sang in English, on a succession of fine albums and singles.

This is their classic 1971 album ‘Sea Wolf’. The sea wolves were the Vikings who once sailed the seas in search of plunder – and such legends certainly provided inspiration for the boys from Oslo.

After the surprising self titled debut (surprising because Norway's rock scene was practically unknown), TITANIC managed to maintain the same lineup and went for a more mature release which was named "Sea Wolf".
The album starts with "Sea Wolf", which marked a constant in the band of opening albums with one of the best tracks and hiding nothing for the end, from the beginning TITANIC attacks us with a blend of hard rock and psych oriented gushing Hammond organ, radical changes and a coherent structure, frantic from start to end with not a second to rest, as if the band had panic to silent moments.
"Underbird" begins with the frenetic organ intro and a Latin oriented percussion that takes us to some sort of British Invasion music with SANTANA influence, but of course the difference is made when the band starts to change from one mood to another repeatedly (complex moves!)  and Janne Loseth adds his peculiar guitar to the mix, a fantastic track with strong percussions probably congas.
Elsewhere, maybe "Sultana" is a tribute to SANTANA or the band members were way into the first Santana Lp, but they turn it on with excellent percussion and expressive Carlos Santana rising guitar tones. "Covered in Dust" is a major change in the style with a blues hardrock sound in the vein of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, with keyboards approaching progressive rock tendencies. The drums and percussion combo deserves a special mention, because John Lorck and Kjell Asperud play as if there was no tomorrow.
"A Stone's Throw" is a strange song for TITANIC, sounds clearly like a psych track with piano instead of Hammond and a pretty simple structure, nice but not great, on the other hand "Scarlet" is an excellent track with a bit of everything, starting with the soft vocals, accurate percussion, fantastic organ and spacey atmosphere, this album keeps getting better... right into "Exiled" which is another something special, from the start the somber organ intro leads us to a martial drum section as if we were before an anthem, then switches into a fluid power  melody where the chorus is simply outstanding (something not so unusual in a band where almost all the musicians sing)... All said a varied mix worthy of investigation with the album getting harder to find by the day!
