Led Zeppelin "II" Atlantic Records, 1969, SD 8236 Original US First Press, Bob Ludwig "Hot Mix" INSANELY RARE!!!!
The holy grail of all Led Zeppelin releases. The famous Bob Ludwig "hot mix". This has RL and SS etched into the deadwax on both sides (it was hard to take pics of that part, but they are there). For those who don't know, this is the true OG first pressing of this with a super loud punchy mix of Zep II. This mix is so loud that most 1969 phono equipment could't handle the frequency, it would cause the needle to slip and they were recalled. Of course all of today's equipment plays this just fine, and for the rarity of this release, this is a very nice example. It's said only 55,000 of these made it into the publics hands, and i wouldn't be surprised if less than a third are still around today. This is must own for serious Zep fans. I have other Zeppelin, and other super RARE, Rock Classics, Psych, Prog, Space, Garage albums in the shop right now.

Condition:
Vinyl: LP is (VG) clean labels, play tested, for the most part no skips, and only some light background noise at points that never overpowers the music. Visually there are some light hairlines. There is one more severe mark on Heartbreaker, and it makes a click throughout, and has one jump toward the end. Click still does not overpower music. Still sounds punchy and awesome.
Jacket: (VG) nice vibrant art, top seam partially split, and some general shelf wear lowers grade (see pics with zoom)
