Description

RARE*LIBRARY*ALAN TEW*HANGED MAN*BREAKS*BEATS*FUNK*HEAR

Yet another stone cold classic library album. Used in it's entirety for a 70's TV thriller. It is of course an amalgam of the two Drama Suite Themes albums by Alan Tew, but you'd have to give up an arm to get your hands on either of those nowadays. This is so packed full of those squelchy bass lines and fuzzy guitars and slinky dirty drum breaks that make this an easy winner for every beat hunter the world over. It still commands great attention and deservedly so as it is probably THE most complete disc of Library tunes ever released in terms of sheer funk and atmosphere. Check out the slinky slinky groove and beats on The Peterman. Here:

Try out this next slow groove for another taster of the brilliance contained here. It must change about 4 times, what a composition. Gentle In The Night. Here:

And one more track for your pleasure the dance floor orientated Contract Man. Here:

Every tune is a masterpiece in laid back cool and there are Fourteen tracks. Still in demand amongst the Dusty Fingers Battalion, you need this one.

The cover has normal edge wear and is an easy VG even VG+ the disc has a crackle or two here and there as you might hear but as the whole album is so laid back you can hear that this is very seldom. I'll mark it as a VG too just for safety.

For track listing see super size photo above.

The Photo and the sound clip are included as part of the description.

Thank you.

Please see my entire auction for a lot of very rare Jazz, Funk, Soul, Cuban Funk, Breaks, Disco and more. This is a big sale. Don't miss out.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System. MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un played should be Mint. EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
