Description

RARE LED ZEPPELIN 12" LP EARLY JITTERS TURTLE RECORDS THOSE BBC CONCERTS 1971

Up for auction is an extremely rare bootleg of Led Zeppelin's BBC Concert in London, 1971. The bootleg has been reproduced by other labels over the years, but was originally produced by Turtle Records, which this lovely piece of vinyl is. The screen printing of the sleeve appears quite primitive, and is done on a flipped inside out Conway Twitty sleeve, which you can see in photo 10. On the back, you'll see that there is a section below the track listing that is all black that seems to be there to cover a misprint...? Under it, it appears to be a different track listing for something that is NOT this record which is as follows:

45 E.P. Side 1. Whole Lotta Love, Movin Mama Blues, Mechanical Blues, That's Alright Mama Side 2. Stairway to Heaven

The ACTUAL track listing is: Side 1. Immigrant Song, Heart Breaker, Dazed and Confused Side 2. Black Dog, Going to California, That's the Way, What is and What Should Never Be

Each side is labeled Turtle "Records" Ken Perry "Who Cares" on a green center.

This vinyl is in over all excellent condition! The sleeve shows minimal rubbing and besides some very faint yellowing on the edges, it is in solid condition with no sticker marks or tears. Please review photos 1 and 2. The record itself is also in very very good condition. In photo 11 you will see each side is etched " Turtle " but " 101B " is only legible on the B side, the A side doesn't look complete..? Photo 12 will show the minimal flaws on the playable areas of the vinyl. There is a faint scratch less than an inch towards the center that can't be felt by the finger. There is an area with rub marks that can not be felt but did not wipe off, and there is a spot that looks like pitting, but could the substance stuck to it. We wiped it with cleaner and it didn't come off, so we are unsure. This can be felt lightly.

This is an epic find for any bootleg collector or Led Zeppelin fan!
