Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
*RARE* original press deep groove MONO vinyl LP Jaro International 5007 - released 1959
NM vinyl appears new: no markings. Test played once on high end equipment the sound is excellent. Strong VG + laminated cover has straight spine and seams, some shelf wear, '4.98' in blk crayon upper rear left panel, what appears to be slight glue waffling lower rear left corner (still adhered), light edge and cover discoloration consistent with age, and small paper nick lower spine and (improper gluing?) upper 1" top spine, and small paper tear mid front cover. Am going for accuracy here, but overall, the cover is solid - especially for a record 55 years old.
