Description
Super Rare UK pressing from 1980 of Joy Divisions Unknown Pleasures 12” Vinyl Album FACT10
Research has shown that the etched runouts match those of a1980 re-issue that relate to a white label copy. This however has the usual sound wave pattern labels - one side black label showing white sound waves, the other white label depicting black sound waves. No track listings on either label.
Runouts Etched on black outside - “FACT 10-outside-2” Opposite this is etched - “This is the way”
Etched on white inside - “FACT 10-inside-2” with an etched capital “R” mixed with the letter”c” beneath, Opposite this is etched - “Step”
Sleeve VG with slight creasing in 2-3 places, residue of original price ticket to front top right corner and a white blemish / mark to the front bottom mid centre. Evidence of handling. Reverse sleeve shows approx half of the records outline otherwise pretty good condition.
Inner white glossy sleeve both sides NM with no signs of wear, use, creases, blemishes or otherwise. shows a photo of a door open on one side with track listings and credits on the other.
Vinyl VG+ with some signs of minor surface marks / handling but does not effect sound quality
The etchings on the runouts and inner sleeve credits make this a rare find which is highly collectible with no record of a similar copy being sold on a well known record collectors database.
