See my other auctions this week for a bunch of rare jazz, psych, and rockabilly LPs! Here’s a very rare Blue Note LP of “New Soil” by Jackie Mclean. This is an ORIGINAL pressing from 1959, with the “47 W 63rd” address. The vinyl grades a solid VG++, just a few light paper scuffs away from Near Mint. The label does have a ring-shaped indentation on it. The indentation is there, but not very deep. The trail-offs say RVG BNLP- 4013A and RVG BNLP- 4013B. The cover is in decent shape, but there is an area near the bottom that has gotten scratched somehow… I took a picture of it so you can see. Personnel includes Donald Byrd, Walter Davis Jr., Paul Chambers, and Pete La Roca. Great copy of a very hard to find classic jazz LP! Buyer pays $3.00 in the US, shipped via media mail.
