Description


Up for your consideration is an original, first US pressing of 'James Newton Howard & Friends' by (none other than) James Newton Howard & Friends. 
Center labels state: 'Direct Disc Recording Limited Edition'
This record comes with 2 inserts. One is the blurb about the band and songs, which incidentally is inscribed and signed by 'Kevin' to 'Mike'.  I was led to believe that this was a gift to the original owner by the guy who did the session photographs for the insert, Kevin Brooks.
The second insert is a description of the Direct to Disk recording method and a list of all the artists who have recorded albums this way for Sheffield Lab.

Condition
Sleeve: VG+ Very nice condition overall. Some signs of light creasing/rubbing from storage/handling wear, seems to be mainly restricted tot he extremities of the sleeve. Very mild signs of ring impressions to top and bottom but no breaking of the laminate and damage to print.
Inserts: VG+/NM Both in very nice condition. Some very light signs wear from storage/handling, inscription on top of band insert.

Vinyl: NM Excellent condition, very shiny on both sides, played through with no discernible problems, very clean and an excellent pressing.
