JIMMY SMITH - GROOVIN' AT SMALLS' PARADISE VOLUME 1
BLUE NOTE 1585 - DEEP GROOVE MONO VG+
FEATURING EDDIE MCFADDEN AND DONALD BAILEY
From 1958, this Blue Note "deep groove" mono pressing (with the "47 West 63rd St., New York" address on cover) Jimmy Smith album recently came out of a local doctor's collection of vintage jazz albums - he was the original owner of this and many other beautiful jazz albums that I am currently listing. Recorded by the legendary Rudy Van Gelder, the record is graded VG+; it's been played a few times, showing some light surface marks. It has the original wax paper inner sleeve. The jacket is VG+, glossy front cover, hardly any wear on the spines, a few small tears on the top of the rear cover slick, small name and filing number written on back cover. Please bid with confidence; I have been a serious collector for over 30 years and grade conservatively.
