BENNIE GREEN: "WALKING DOWN" LP - On PRESTIGE Records, #7049.  Original '56 MONO pressing with the classic Yellow & Black labels and the 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address on the labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides with RVG etched in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Eric Dixon/tenor sax; Bennie Green/trombone; Lloyd Mayers/piano; Sonny Wellesley/bass; Bill English/drums.   The vinyl is in VG- condition, very glossy, has light sleeve scuffs, surface marks and some thin "feeler" scratches.  Plays strong in spite of some background surface noise and occasional popping.  The thick laminated cardboard cover displays nicely.  Faint stain at top on back only.  There is evidence of a little bit of wear at a couple corner tips.  No cut-out markings, no seam splits, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 447 West 50th Street, New York 19, N.Y.  The songs are:  East Of The Little Big Horn; It's You Or No One; But Not For Me; Walking (Down); The Things We Did Last Summer.
