Vinyl: VG+ The vinyl is Very Good (Plus) with nice shine still with clean labels. There are numerous fine scuffs or hairline marks but none are "feel-able" and for the most part it is a clean and great sounding play. Some very light tics and pops may be heard in spots but none so loud as to be obtrusive to the music, in my estimation. Most of the original 1950s Prestige and New Jazz LPs were somewhat noisier than pressings made by other labels such as Blue Note for example. As hard as it is to find a great playing copy with a very good cover this is one of the few in such great condition.
Cover: VG+ The cover is in Excellent condition or Very Good Plus with just slight staining, tanning of the white on the back cover. Solid seams with no splits and only very slightly bumped or rounded corners. Front cover is one of the coveted of jazz record covers for many a listener and collector and this one is truly in excellent condition.
