RARE Hank Mobley (Blue Note 1568) vinyl LP SEALED PRESS TEST PRESSING BOX SET

This is an extremely rare test pressing and production LP set from Classic Records of the Hank Mobley LP. One LP (test pressing) is using the company's 180 gram pressing technique, the other is a 200 gram QUIEX SV-P pressing. This 'box set' also includes a brand new large t-shirt with the 200 gram Classic Records QUIEX SV-P logo and various documention for members of the press from the company concerning this special rare box set. This was NEVER a production 'box set' as i recall and, as such, is incredibly rare. Maybe ?-35-? of these were made???

This Hank Mobley album from 1957 (originally Blue Note 1568) features trumpeter Bill Hardman, saxist Curtis Porter, pianist Sonny Clark and the house rhythm section of Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. The group takes plenty of room to stretch on the five songs here including ''Falling In Love With Love'' and ''Bags' Groove.''
