Records: VG+ overallA very attractive visual standard for a shellac set of this age. Most discs appear to remain in VG+ condition, which is genuinely uncommon and highly desirable for an early 78rpm box set. Clean gloss is still present and the records present very well in the photos. Outer box / album case: Good to Good+
The case is honest and complete, but clearly well-aged. There is visible wear, rubbing, staining / foxing-like spotting, edge and corner wear, and general age-related handling marks. That said, it still retains real display character and, importantly, remains a strong survivor for such an old and delicate presentation piece. Booklet / journal material: VG
Internal printed material is present, which is a major plus. It shows age toning, creasing, light staining and corner wear, but appears intact and not torn through from what is visible in the photos. A very nice and important accompaniment to the set.
