Description
These were found together, hidden inside another LP sleeve. The original tunes here have never seen the light of day and are about as rare as they come. The 33 is an organ heavy live recording from the Tic-Toc lounge made on June 6, 1970, mostly covers and with the unknown songs being what I believe are originals. Track list 1. Eyes of a New York Woman ( B.J. Thomas ) 2. It's Alright ( Curtis Mayfield ) 3. ???? 4. Evil Ways ( Santana ) 5. But It's Alright ( J.J. Jackson ) 6. No Time ( The Guess Who ) Side 2 1. Mustang Sally ( Wilson Pickett ) 2. Dont Let the Sun Catch You Crying ( Gerry and the Pacemakers ) 3. Hold On I'm Coming ( Sam and Dave ) 4. The Rains Came ( Sir Douglas Quintet ) 5. ???? 6. Tell It Like It Is ( The Centre ). The 45, although attributed to " The Centre ", appears to also be Mickey and the Cleancuts. The vocalist sounds to be the same man and the A-side is the last song they perform on the LP. The B-side is titled " Dont You Believe It ", a catchy garage track with a nice fuzz guitar solo. Both records have scuffing, surface scratches but play thru without skipping.
