Frank did it big.  For his 50th birthday he released an album/tv special combo called "A Man and His Music."  For his party, he invited about 2,000 of his closest friends to Palm Springs to view the TV special that was set to air.  As a gift, he gave out a limited edition to the album that was to be released in a special hard sleeve with a metal cover.  On the back of every album was a card numbered and signed by Frank himself.  
Several years ago, I came across one of these albums and couldn't pass it up.  I love Frank, but I am not as passionate of a fan as there is out there, so I am going to part with it.  This is #1417.
I am starting the auction low because the album is not in prime shape.  It is a 50 year old album, so who knows where it has been.  It travelled from Palm Springs to Michigan at some point, so it has a history.  The condition of the individual parts are as follows:
Outer Sleeve: Overall in good shape.  The top edge has some scuffs. Inner Vinyl Sleeve: In great shape.  Very glossy. Biography Book: In great shape except for a scuff on the cover.  Vinyl: Not in the best shape.  I played it once and it has some noise and pops.  If you want mint copy of the vinyl it is the same edition as is readily available for purchase.  I don't see the vinyl as the value in this set so I didn't replace it.
Autograph Card: Card stock has yellowed and there are some creases down the middle.  It appears as though it is taped on just as presented.
