Description
1st Pressing Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon with Solid Blue Triangle and Harvest SHVL 804 Gatefold Sleeve!!
The item for sale here is the ORIGINAL form of the release, it has solid light blue prism LP picture labels with silver lettering, (later forms have an empty prism) delivered in its original gatefold sleeve.
This first pressing is identifiable by:
· A solid light blue prism. (Subsequent pressings have a blue glowing inner edge prism with the centre black.)
· 'The Gramophone Co.' text starts at 10 o'clock on label.
· A-2/B-2 matrix stamps appear in the runout area.
· Thick heavyweight vinyl with the first pressing pressed directly from the original masterplate.
· There is a distinct bluish tint/tinge in the black ink of the cover.
· Original inner sleeve is a distinctive polythene lined die cut black semi matt paper with white printed text stating 2 patent numbers bottom left [1125555/1072844] and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' bottom right.
Unfortunately the posters and stickers are missing from our copy.

Condition (in line with Goldmine Magazine guidelines)
Vinyl - Very Good Plus (VG+) shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Slight light visible marks, not effecting the actual playback.
Label - Very Good Plus (VG+) some ring wear and spindle marks but barely noticeable.
Picture sleeves and inner sleeves - Very Good Plus (VG+) some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, but the spine is completely intact. The LP cover in general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, would be Near Mint.
