About me, I have over forty years experience in primarily collecting; but also buying, selling and trading antiques and collectibles. I attempt to describe every item accurately, and I will offer a wide range of items if I have the time to devote. Most items are from my own collections, or things I have picked up along the way at garage, churchs, and estate sales; thrift shops, or auctions. I grade records similar to the Goldmine record grading standards.

Nothing is more important in determining the value of a record, than its condition!

PLEASE NOTE: all items are visually graded and not play graded and are of my opinion

since some defects are easy to see, such as scratches and warps.

Cover condition comes first, second the paper sleeve if needed and the record,

COVER GRADING SCALE:

MINT (M) Perfect in every way.

NEAR MINT (NM OR M-) A nearly perfect cover. It should show no obvious signs of wear. Covers should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects.

Definitely no cut-out holes.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) or EXCELLENT (E) Covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking.

Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.

VERY GOOD (VG) Covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written or stamped a price tag on it, too.

GOOD (G), GOOD PLUS (G+) Covers will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the look of cover.

POOR (P), FAIR (F) Covers can be water damaged, split on all three seams, heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeve is fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon. This could also have heavily repaired seam splits with tape.

VINYL GRADING SCALE

STILL SEALED (SS) Still-sealed albums can — and do — bring higher prices.

NOTE: STILL SEALED (SS) Cover may still have some light ring wear from sitting for years on a shelf.

MINT (M) these are absolutely perfect in every way.

NEAR MINT (NM OR M-), it’s nearly perfect “it looks like and it was opened for the first time’’.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) or EXCELLENT (E) except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint

VERY GOOD (VG) Many of the imperfections found on a VG+ record are more obvious on a VG record

GOOD (G), These records go for 10 to 15 percent of the Near Mint value, Good does not mean bad! The record might still plays through without skipping

POOR (P) and Fair (F) These records go for 0 to 5 percent of the Near Mint value

TERMS OF SALE

Payment is expected immediately when buying or within seven days from auction end.

Payment: I prefer PayPal in US currency so you can pay me securely with any major credit card through PayPal! If paying by PayPal for more than one item, please do so in ONE transaction. If you have other items from another of my auctions (pending or closed), please be sure to let me know, so I can send them together saving you postage.

It helps me greatly, because without these very important information’s it will delay your item from being sent out, When sending your payment please remember to include the e-bay item # and the name of the item you have won or bought.

Shipping will normally be within 1 business day of receiving payment confirmation.

International Buyers Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

I will contact you with handling and shipping costs as they vary from country to country, other shipping options available: tracking number sticker and insurance available upon request, I cannot be held liable for lost or miss directed packages or if the item is damaged during shipment if the above shipping options are not requested.

Air shipping is encouraged, but surface will be provided upon request. For the surface option however, I accept no responsibility for safe delivery or lengthy delays. (Projected Delivery Time is 6 to 12 weeks for Surface). Records are shipped in materials designed to transport records safely. 78s RPM are shipped in designed boxes with bubble wrap and protective pads. High valued 78’s RPM shipments will be shipped Priority Mail Only. I will not ship 78’s via regular Mail as this shipping method significantly increases risks of breakage

14 Day return policy.

Item must be returned in same condition as received. Please include your name, eBay user id and the eBay item number and description with all returns.

BUYER will pay returns postage costs unless item has been misrepresented or other error in the listing. PLEASE ask questions before bidding. PLEASE read descriptions and view all pictures carefully. Upon receipt of item, if you are unhappy with your purchase, PLEASE contact me immediately.
