One of the last two sets. I have no more. These will be the last time you will ever see these. Use buy now to enssure delivery by Christmas. You know they were good this year. Or maybe you have! Hahahahaha. Here we have up for grabs one of the rarest of the rare! The actual plate/stamper that pressed the hot vinyl into the L.P. record album CPLI-0341 "A Legendary Performer" by the one and only Elvis Presley. Buyer will recieve one set stampers/plates. One side "A" plate/stamper and one side "B" plate stamper. Each in its original manilla envelope. These things are usually thrown away by the record pressing plant after they are used for pressing the albums. They can only be used for so many impressions and then they are done. Usually discarded or recycled. They are a beautiful silver color wich I believe is a chromium. The photos just do not do these things justice. They would look great framed. The plates were found by me at a local record pressing plant just east of Los Angeles in Monterey Park California. The plant was called "Alberti Records". I went there when the plant was going out of business. I was there to pick up my own bands' plates and the owner told me I could take anything else I wanted because everything that wasn't collected that day was going into the trash. I stumbled across a box that said "RCA plates" on it and peeked inside. To my surprise it had Elvis Presley and David Bowie plates inside from 1977/1978. Needless to say I took that box. I have a sold a few here on ebay and 1 privately to very happy customers. The matrix numbers on the plates themselves and on the manilla storage envelopes match the actual U.S. presings of the albums. A quick search of the nuber on the internet will prove that.
