Description
This is a Very RARE Limited Edition of 300 Set of Exact Duplicates of the First & Second Records Elvis Presley EVER Made at Sun Studio in Memphis, TN.
One day on his lunch hour, Elvis decided to record a song for his mother's Birthday, for four dollars you could record two songs, although Sam Phillips was not there that day, Marion Kiesker the office manager was so impressed with Elvis she decided to make a tape copy of the recordings to play for Sam, and not only did she play the tape but kept pushing Sam to use the young Singer.
The first Record in this set HTF Limited Edition of 300 copies only is an Exact duplicate of that famous first Record Elvis ever made at Sun Studios, featuring the songs, My Happiness and That's when you Heartaches Begin." Marion did not have a label handy that day so, She typed the titles on back of a Sun Label recording by The Prisonaires, song My God Is Real / Softly and Tenderly to . That is to say, a recording that contained the Label "Softly and Tenderly" only on one side, evidently a blank disc but still having the Label, and the Elvis recording labels on both sides. Viewing the "original" acetate one can see the Sun Label underneath the white Label typed on by Marion Keiser .
This Reproduction includes the flipped Sun Label with titles and singer typed in old manual typewriter. The Sun label is clearly visible on the reproduction that is also marked for 78 rpm for authenticity but actually plays at 45rpm.
Unfortunately Sam Phillips was not impressed by Elvis but Marion, persisted and invited Elvis back to record another Single, I'll Never Stand in Your Way and It wouldn't be the same without You," , . This time, the record was done a little more professional with the type written titles on an Original Memphis Recording Studio Label, and Marion made sure Sam Heard it but it wasn't until 8 months later in 1954 when Sam needed a singer for a song called Without You he remembered Elvis and Gave him a shot the rest is History.
This special Edition Set was available at only at a Special event at Graceland and sold out the first day. My husband was at the event and managed to get one of the 300 copies before they were gone. Since this issue, they have reissued these in Yellow but these 300 are the only authorized EXACT DUPLICATES of the ORIGINAL FIRST SUN RECORDINGS and a must have for the Elvis Presley Fan.

I've spent a fortune and months trying to get someone to believe she has a serious medial problem and now that I've finally proved it, trying to get the idiots here in the south to Remove the problem and quit trying to blame her weight for a Lipoma tumor that is killing her.

Valued at over $10,000 in the price guide, the Original was suppose to be destroyed after broadcast but a very few survived and The Reproduction was created from one of those surviving copies including a fantastic Reproduction of the Jacket made from the original.
Damage & Condition:
Both records are Mint Unplayed and come in the original White Paper sleeves Only. Please be aware although marked 78 rpm. for reproduction purposes, they actually play at 45 rpm. if that is a Concern for some reason.
