Description
Title: RCA VICTOR “December ’63 Pop Sampler”
Label: RCA VICTOR ~ SPS 33-247. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is black with silver text.
Year: 1963
NOTE: This is one of those few rare RCA promo samplers that included Elvis on one or two tracks. Issued in December 1963, this one almost never shows up.
Features Elvis on Side 2 singing the title track to the motion picture “Fun in Acapulco.” Few collectors can claim this piece as part of their collection!
Condition:
DISC: EXCELLENT with full original gloss. Has been played a very small number of times and handled with care. There are a couple slight paper scuffs, but no serious or audible marks. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity. Labels are clean. This scarce promo LP rarely turns up, and this one is guaranteed to please.
This sampler was a release that was only issued to radio stations, and did not include a printed jacket. Disc is enclosed in plain cardboard jacket for protection.
Matrix numbers are both “A1 – 1S”.
