Description
This is the extremely rare 1956 7" 45rpm single 'I WANT YOU, I NEED YOU, I LOVE YOU' b/w 'MY BABY LEFT ME' by the undisputed King of Rock and Roll, ELVIS PRESLEY on the mauve/gold HMV label, cat# 7M 424. The labels are in rather better than the usual 'Excellent' but maybe not quite Near mint (is NEAR near mint a grade?). The gold text is clean and sharp and there is no spindle-marking that I can see. The A-side vinyl is in an excellent condition with one light 'scuff' mark on the run-in groove. The B-side, viewed under a strong light, has a few (but only a few!) 'hairline' marks. There are also about 6 or so tiny white spots, seeming to be of tippex/liquid paper or similar. These do not affect play and will come off with the application of lighter fuel or similar (and patience!). These spots are not visible on the scan. Please study the scans. Please note that the white 'flecks' that are visible on the disc are due to the scanning process and are not present on the disc. This disc has been thoroughly play-tested on a CITRONIC PD-1 deck with a lightweight tone-arm.
