Description
The Clouds - Gala 45-100 "Black Cat" / "Baby" 1960
The vinyl has several light to medium scratches, and has a slight edge warp that affected both sides, but did play through sort of OK-and there were 2 skips on Black Cat (in the middle) - no skips on Baby. This would never be able to played by a linear tracking turntable - Played with light to medium noise, Baby has several low level ticks, rating around fair to good I guess-I do rate harder than most dealers,. I think a clamp would help a bit on the warp, but I just do not have one - Maybe you know how to flatten out a 45 without damaging this, but that's your job, not mine.
Clean, but ring worn labels
If in better VG+ to NM shape this could get well over 500 dollars
Do NOT ask me to end this auction with your low ball offer, just bid what you want
I normally do not sell records in this shape, but this one's rarity and the fact that several in the G to VG- range netted over $100 over the years is my excuse. Maybe you can use this as wall art.
You can hear "Baby" on youtube, but is way better sounding than this copy
I use Goldmine magazine's strict guidelines for rating records, and most dealers think I rate TOO hard!
