“Diesel Dazzle” A Musical Moment In The Pursuit Of Solescence - Contemporary Productions S 00011

Rare industrial musical private pressing stereo LP from 1966 in outstanding NM condition. Record looks to be unplayed. Gatefold cover is VG+ due to a 2”top center seam split and a small corner bump at top right. Otherwise very clean. Includes the original show program in NM- condition and 2 pages of program notes. I have not seen the program notes included with other copies of this album. Please see images for titles and details.

This musical was staged by General Motors in Detroit during their convention April 27-30, 1966. Among the cast were Hal Linden and David Hartman. Book, lyrics and music by the inimitable team of Bill Heyer and Harold Beebe.

I've been a record collector since 1976 and a dealer for over 20 years. I grade fairly and honestly using the Goldmine grading standards for vinyl and VJM grading for shellac (78's). I use new record mailers and protect the album cover and vinyl (separated in a poly sleeve to avoid seam splits) with heavy 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 corrugated pads.
