THE PICTURES YOU SEE ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU ARE BIDDING ON.  I NEVER USE "STOCK" PICTURES THAT HIDE BLEMISHES OR OTHER PROBLEMS.

ITEM:   Rare, Original Duke Of Iron Calypso 45 rpm record.  Side 1 is "Postman";  side 2 is "Man Smart, Woman Smarter".  Released on the Monogram Records label, catalog number M-45-872. 

COMMENTS/CONDITION:   I have quite a few Reggae and Calypso records that I will be posting as time permits. Check back frequently to see my inventory.

Grading was done by a visual inspection under a bright source, the record was not test played.

Grading is in accordance with Goldmine Rating Standards. If you are not familiar with the definitions, please go to Goldmine's web site and review them BEFORE you bid.

I have not cleaned this record. Most serious collectors have their own preferred method of doing this. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that all records be thoroughly cleaned,  BEFORE PLAYING,  to remove any microscopic particles of dust or grit that may be inside the grooves.

This "45" came from a private collection, it is not a beat up record bought at a yard sale.

The vinyl is in clean, VG+ Condition, retaining a nice high gloss sheen. There are no warps, cracks, deep scratches, or groove wear. Center hole is perfectly round with no signs of repeated playing. Close visual inspection reveals a some light scuff and hairline marks that appear cosmetic only and should not affect the playback or listening enjoyment of the record.

Both labels are in excellent, clean condition. There are no spindle tracks, tears, peeling edges, stickers, or writing.
