Title: Optimo (actually, there is no printed disk title, but since Liquid Liquid's first EP also had only the band's name on it, this EP is often referred to as Optimo)

This is the rare third 12" release of this highly influential, highly enjoyable No-Wave influenced dance band. Liquid Liquid's music features complex rhythms with a variety of percussion instruments, often accompanied by a strong, throbbing bass. This was a band that became better known after their breakup in the early '80s. Their music often reappears at dance clubs, and such bands as Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel have made use of sampled Liquid Liquid tracks. All three of Liquid Liquid's original 12" EPs from 99 Records were pressed in very limited quantities, and are highly collectable. This is the original pressing; not a reissue.
This disk is in excellent condition, from my personal collection and always handled with care; no scratches or fingerprints. I am the original and only owner. The jacket is also in very good condition, with a tiny amount of shelf wear, but no fraying, crushed corners or tears. There is a 3/8" crease on the one corner.
