I am selling all of my extraneous audio and video components in addition to my tape, record, laserdisc, etc. collections. As usual, I will start with a low opening bid and no reserve. I typically, although not always :(, end up receiving a fair price for the items I sell. As you can see from the description below, I am truly letting my collectible items go. This listing is for CAPTAIN & TENNILLE "Song Of Joy" rare DBX encoded audiophile LP (A&M SP 3144). This is a "Full Dynamic Range Recording" DBX encoded pressing. Please note that you need a DBX decoder to experience the extended dynamic range of this LP. Song of Joy is a very collectible audiophile item. Both the vinyl and cover are in excellent condition. It is still in the shrink wrap, but has been played in order to record onto reel to reel. Includes original dbx insert.
Note: The dbx version of this album is quite rare. The last one (1-8-17) sold on eBay for $36 + $4.12 shipping.

Look for blockbuster and classic laserdiscs, many sealed, in my other auctions! Upcoming additions will include mint Disney Boxsets, numerous ANIME, movie Boxsets and more e.g., The Three Cabaleros, Spinal Tap, Clockwork Orange, Toy Story, Big Bands at Disneyland, etc., The Compleat Tex Avery, plus so much more. Bottom line is that I will never have the time to watch (even once) these unopened mint and viewed once laserdiscs. Instead of donating them to Goodwill and getting a tax write-off, I want them to go to people who will appreciate them... either as a collectible or as something enjoyable to watch (and listen).
