Description

This is a very rare original 1st pressing of the classic Beatles LP - Please Please Me in Mono
A very rare record indeed and in a very fair condition for its age
The overall condition of the sleeve is nice and shiny, intact, with just a very tiny amount of laminate lifting on one edge
There is some very slight creasing to the inner sleeve, which would be expected for an LP that is nearly 60 years old
The first edition iconic Parlophone black and gold labels are in very good condition
Both sides of this vinyl LP are in good condition, with very minimal cosmetic hairline scratches, which can not be made out on the photos. All tracks play perfectly, and sound quality is amazing
And now to the authenticity. The credits are to Dick James, as opposed to Northern Soul for later versions. There is no ‘Sold in the Uk’ across the labels, this text was introduced on later editions. The vinyl has XEX - 420 / 421 - IN engraved on both sides, and the front cover, bottom right corner shows the photo credited to Angus McBean, and printed by Ernest J Day & Co. And has the Emtrex cleaning cloth advert on the rear
I have tried to list as much detail relating to the condition of this LP, and my honest rating would be V Good condition for age. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask
