Another bunch of 78s from the past. Time is very much at a premium during April, so this may well be the only listing I have before May. As before I will be listing records on a "rolling" basis over the next few days. So please do keep looking! In most cases these are my shelf copies; others are from a small collection I bought recently.As well as 78s, I still have the odd book and catalogue to go out, plus a few theatre programmes. I have graded as conservatively as always. Whilst some of these look a bit "scruffy" all those I've play-checked play a bit better than graded. Good luck!
TITLES:- "A Precious Little Thing Called Love/Sugar Is Back" on Decca M.33.
Two fine sides by the Ambrose Orchestra on the very scarce early Decca label. The grading on this disc may seem harsh, but at this time Decca recordings were far inferior to their later high quality, and pressing wasn't always that good either. I have deliberately graded at V to V+, as there is some distortion and surface noise, although experimenting with different styli might bring an improvement. (Visually it looks a good V+, but doesn't play as well. A great pity, but it would suffice until a better copy comes along.)

POSTAGE and SHIPPING As a long-time collector and buyer myself, I am all too aware of how much it costs to pack and ship fragile 78s, and have never charged more than is necessary to meet that cost. To ship one disc to the USA works out at about $25, including the cost of the box. Obviously, a parcel with three or four discs works out cheaper per disc. I normally ship overseas at Air Mail, Small Packet rate. (I will ship via Surface Mail if asked, but this usually means you wait up to eight weeks for your parcel.....and, curiously, it's not that much cheaper!) As always, if anyone is concerned about shipping costs please contact me before the listing ends, and I'll do my best to help. FINALLY....PLEASE WAIT for my invoice before paying for your discs! The final shipping cost may well be less than Ebay's "standard" figure.
