One of the rarest Jay Abner LPs, this album rarely surfaces. I believe only 2-3 have been signed.
Vinyl is fully play-tested. Plays VG++ to EX on side one with only very minor background. Side 2 is VG+ with s light bit more light background, but still sounds very good. I'm going to generally grade it VG+, but may lean more towards the ++.
The cover unfortunately suffered over the years. It looks to have been damaged by some silverfish along the spine. It looks like they perhaps ate the paper on the top 1/3 of the spine. Bottom edge has significant wear and has rubbed all the white paper away. Cardboard is still strong. No splits, drills, creases, or writing outside of the autograph. Rear cover is significantly age-spotted. The original generic paper inner was also age-spotted, but I replaced it with a modern poly-lined inner. I still have the original inner housed in the poly sleeve we keep it shelved in if you want it. No splits on the inner sleeve, but it was just ugly.Overall for the sleeve, I'm going to give it a VG. It's not split or drilled/creased as I said, but the wear on edges and yellowing most definitely drag it down below a VG+ grade. The sleeve also wants to stay gaped open by a small amount when resting. Not really a problem, but just a bit odd. If it's not in a plastic sleeve, you could risk snagging the opening as you insert it into the shelf if you have little shelf room like our collection :) We sleeve nearly everything over $20, so this will definitely come in its poly sleeve
