RARE!  A Star is Born-Judy Garland & James Mason-1954 5-disc shellac 78 set

 

Columbia  BM-1201, 5-Disc 78rpm Set

 

Thia is an amazing 5-disc 78rpm set of the acclaimed 1954 musical,

“A Star is Born”, with Judy Garland, James Mason and an all-star cast.

 

This set is in very good condition.  The cover is clean, and colors are brilliant.

The shellac albums are shiny and play beautifully.  There is some edge damage on

Discs 3 & 5 (see photos).  This is common with shellac. Especially this type,

which is numbered and made to “stack” on a record changer. This DOES NOT

diminish playback.

I would grade media as Good/Very Good. The jacket is Very good Plus.
