UK LABEL NORTHERN/MODERN SOUL
I'll be auctioning off a lot of UK label singles over the next year(s), all taken from my own large collection. I've decided to concentrate on collecting US releases, and only keep a few UK label records. Among them are some very collectable 45s indeed, so make sure you don't miss any.
Mary Wells recorded six singles for the 20th Century-Fox label in the mid-60s, and I'm selling three of them elsewhere on eBay tonight. However, this much later 45 for the same label has become far more collectable.

This is a minter, which I bought new. It was released in January 1981 in the UK, and was soon in shop's bargain bins, due to apathy from buyers. That's where I found two copies. The shop-owner couldn't understand why I needed two of the same record! One copy got played to death on my mobile disco, and the other just received one play, then lay in a box. I'd very nearly forgotten about it, but got a nice surprise when I found it after all these years.
I'm going to hang on to the other copy, but now offer this one on eBay. I'm not going to describe it at all. There really isn't any need.
As I said, this copy is mint, and has two spotless labels. The edges are completely chip-free.
This record has been played on both sides to verify condition. It comes in a brand-new card cover.
