Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The Biggest Thing Since Colossus album by blues legend Otis Spann backed by Peter Green, John McVie and blues boom stars Fleetwood Mac. This 10-track, 1969 original LP features Chicago blues man Otis Spann dealing his best LP, Biggest Thing Since Colossus releawsed in January of 1969. British power blues quintet Fleetwood Mac came to Chess Records studios to jam with the likes of Willie Dixon, S.P. Leary, Honeyboy Edwards, and longtime Muddy Waters' pianist Otis Spann. The sessions that made the Biggest Thing Since Colossus album were so rich and fruitful that the mighty Fleetwood Mac (specifically bassist John McVie and guitarists Peter Green and Danny Kirwin) impressed Spann enough to cut a record with them at the now legendary sessions. Highlights include "Dig You" and "Walkin'" and are a near perfect match of Spann's exciting, emotive singing and the Mac's youthful muscle. While the classic "Country Girl" and a seven-minute "Someday Soon Baby" (which features a lengthy intro from Green on which Spann can be heard barely off mic telling the rest of the band to "let him play on") are equally impressive... admirers of the Chicago blues scene-sters like Otis Spann and Peter Green, should easily find this album such a pleasure. Spann is his usual constant, but Peter Green show how good a blues guitarist he was. He plays with so much feeling in what is played...

CONDITION: The Cover: solid all over; just a 'touch' of shelf wear starting, clean VG++ otherwise crisp and collectible with no bends, no writing and no split seams...
The Vinyl: both sides retain original luster, "EX" (excellent), visually there are somme light wispy hair scuffs that do not affect play, so plays clean from start to end... the Blue Horizon labels are both clean
