Description

Here is a RARE 2xLP BOOTLEG copy of the Irish Rock Band U2 LIVE CONCERT made during their UNFORGETTABLE FIRE tour of 1984-1985. This 2xLP BOOTLEG was recorded live at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California on December 16, 1984. This 2 album set is in overall very good, used condition, and plays very well. It comes in generic sleeves in a plain white generic album cover. There are no tracks on these 2 albums, just continuous recording. On side 3, a man named Martin is apparently removed for interrupting the concert, and when Bono asks for requests from the audience, in rainy weather, the band covers the Beatles song “Rain” and also “Ruby Tuesday.” Half way through Side 1, Bono says a message to the Prime Minister, a message to Mrs. Thatcher, a message to the President, to Ronnie Ray Gun. At another point, he dedicates a song to Coretta King, wife of Martin Luther King, Jr. At the end of Side 2, Bono says “It’s really great to be back in Los Angeles,” and then, referring to the local LA weather, says if “we can just say no rain, man, there will be no rain, man.” .........These two BOOTLEG U2 LIVE CONCERT ALBUMS from December 16, 1984 are really wonderful and special.......................Buyer pays all shipping and handling costs via USPS PRIORITY MAIL MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX with insurance and signature confirmation. BUYER PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A FINAL SALE, NO RETURNS. Sorry, no international shipping.
