Description
1969 - The one and only - Original and incredibly rare TRUE 1st pressing of Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band's "Trout Mask Replica".
It's in excellent original condition with the fold out insert and both original inner sleeves.
Has STS1053 on label and on the dead wax(run off wax), as well as the Cover. Original Catalog number.
Both records are Very Good++, they're shiny and remarkably clean with a few ultra light surface marks that DO NOT affect the play at all. They're typical light marks from the inner sleeve rubbing, NO skips/scratches/scuffs. I play tested this awesome album and it sounds clean all through! Was stored in a private collection for years.
The labels are clean and free of any wear .
The gatefold jacket is in VG condition with some normal light ring at top of front(seen in the picture), also has some mild edge wear, nothing major at all. NO frays/splits/tears at all. Inside the Gatefold is clean and crisp. The spine is excellent and the info clear.
