Description
Here is an album from my collection offered up for sale: This is an original 1966 pressing of "The Monkees". Released by Colgems Records COM-101 (Mono), Offered here is a RARE EARLY PRESSING with a MISPRINTED front jacket and label with the misspelling of "papa Gene's Blues" as "Papa Jean's blues"! These errors on the covers and labels were were quickly corrected so these early misprinted copies are hard to find! Songs include: hey Hey we're the Monkees, Last train to Clarksville, I wanna be free, Tomorrow's gonna be another day, Take a giant step, and more! ! Lots of fun!!
The vinyl rates VG+/ EX, is super glossy and clean, has some light marks nothing heavy, This record has been PLAY TESTED. Plays very good from start to finish, sounds great, bright clear sound with minimal surface noise, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen! Labels look great!
The cover rates easy VG+/EX, is super bright and clean with NO ring wear,NO splits! edges and corners EX with minimal wear, has a tiny tear blemish on rear cover slick in lower left corner.. The binder edge is EX & readable, NO signatures or writing! It is a beauty & has been well cared for! (see all photos)
Will be shipped in .3ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in a paper inner sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
