Rare Original 1972 German first pressing on the famous COSMIC "OHR" Recods label...Not many realize but this is the best, most consitant Birth Control album...
And you thought the 1st ELOY had the only trash can cover....
The popular Krautrock hard/psych band BIRTH CONTROL were very popular in the Krautrock scene of the early 70's and made several albums...Generally the best ones are regarded as 1970 "Birth Control" and 1972 "Operation" but arguably this one, also 1972, the well crafted "Belive In The Pill" overview offers a powerful selection, track for track with never a dull moment...Thrilling hard psych/prog tracks loaded with gushing organ and sizzling acid guitar leads....
Heavy psychedelia like in the good old days. The Deep Purple influence sits everywhere, but the most noticeably is the surging organ play. During the killer infectious & energetic "Stop Little Lady" the band are exploding ...tight, loud and electrified...A very great opening. "NO Drugs" is a raw heavy rocker with savage fuzz guitar...the long "Light My Fire" is no Doors but lives up to a cool Brith Control workout....
The rhythm keeps all its frenzy with the great "The Work Is Done". This time, the guitar is noticeably raw and jagged, highlighted of course by the extraordinary gushing organ. If you ever have dreamed to listen to a cloning of John Lord and Ken (Uriah Heep) Hensley, listen to this band. It is amazing.
The band continues with the powerful "Pandemonium". Organ play is HUGE. Really on par with the greatest ones.

CONDITION: The cover is fragile & laminated, VG++ with only a light crease at top right corner keeping the grade to otherwise be EX/M- ...still very striking bright colors and design make for an easy keeper collectible
The vinyl is all glossy, both sides, VG++ having some minor nothing light scuffs, nothing near deep, so plays excellent...like a winner
