We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

The first s/t album of the mighty Flasket Brinner (Burning Flesh) was released in 1971 and is more or less an intense album which was recorded live. It is composed of jams of complex prog-rock jazzy accents mixed with heavy rock, psychedelic and some folk tunes in a somewhat free-form...All in all, a very dynamic record that gets the listener hooked.
Sweden at the beginning of the 1970's, like Germany close by, had an exciting music scene where American and British trends were being ignored. Here the bands were not shackled by commercialism and could pursue the freedom to explore all sorts of combinations of styles. In this environment, bands such as Algarnas Tradgard, Sammla Mamas Manna, Kebnekaise and International Harvester produced a very exciting rock culture filled with creative ideas. All appeared on the Silence label, the Swedish equivalent of Germany's Ohr label. Flasket Brinner (The Flesh is Burning) were but one of these great bands.
On their self-titled debut, Flasket Brinner pursued the free-form jam mixed with the odd progressive composition in a live setting. The style is very much inspired by the free jazz scene that flourished in late 1960s Europe. However here, the instrumentation was more rock based with organ, guitar, bass, drums, flute and reeds. The playing is extremely energetic which, if not careful, will catch the listener in a bit of head-banging. And, best of all, the melodies were based on traditional Swedish themes making a wonderful concoction of rock, free jazz, psychedelic and folk. A brilliant album overall and a must for fans of Euro psychedelic fusion.

CONDITION: The cover is all clean and laminated "EX" (excellent) to M- with no split seams, no writing...very collectible appearance...
The vinyl is all glossy clean, M- everywhere except...has only one mark, but it's a nasty needle scratch half way through first track and into a little of the second track that produces clicks... otherwise all the rest of the album is clear...so will give it a VG rating overall even though a major portion of the album is clean....
